All applicants must be over 18 years of age The West Clare School of English reserves the right to change terms and conditions, prices and details without notice. The West Clare School of English reserves the right to decline an application without liability. Courses will run subject to demand. The West Clare School of English reserves the right to cancel courses at any time up to Monday, 25 May 2009. However, The West Clare School of English reserves the right to cancel a course at any time, even after this date, as a result of exceptional circumstances. If a course is cancelled by The West Clare School of English at any time, any paid deposits or fees for this course will be refunded to students. The West Clare School of English will endeavour to respond to you within five working days from the date of your application. If your application is successful, we will send you via email a request for payment of your course deposit of €150. This deposit can be paid by clicking on the “payments” page. Once this deposit is received by The West Clare School of English, we will send you confirmation of your provisional place on your course and an invoice for the balance of your course fees of €800. Your place on your selected course will be secured on payment of the balance of €800. This balance must be paid by 6 June 2009 for courses starting on 6 July 2009. This balance must be paid by 27 June 2009 for courses starting on 27 July 2009. Once the balance of €800 has been received by The West Clare School of English, we will send you confirmation of your place on the course. No responsibility is accepted by The West Clare School of English for loss or additional expenses incurred by the students as a result of travelling from their own countries to the school, or as a result of travelling within Ireland to the school. Accordingly, The West Clare School of English strongly recommends that students take out travel insurance. Students from EU countries should not require a visa to enter Ireland. Students from Non-EU countries may need a visa to enter Ireland and should check this prior to travelling to Ireland. All students are responsible for checking any visa or other entry requirements to Ireland prior to travelling. The students of the West Clare School of English are insured against accident/injury while on the school premises and during school hours only. Students are not insured against illness or damage, theft or loss of personal effects and The West Clare School of English accepts no responsibility in such an event. It is therefore necessary for students to take out personal insurance prior to travelling. The school shall not be responsible or liable for the students outside of school hours. Any activities, transport or excursions outside of the school premises and outside school hours are arranged by The West Clare School of English solely as agent and accordingly The West Clare School of English shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, theft, injury, damage, delay, illness or other irregularity that may occur. Students are strongly recommended to take out full personal, travel, medical, money and baggage insurance in advance. Where applicable, students should have E-111 forms to present in Ireland if required. The West Clare School of English accepts applications on the basis that all information supplied by the students is true and accurate. Students will be placed in classes based on the level of English stated by them on their application. The West Clare School of English is not obliged to verify these levels. It is the student's responsibility to ensure they are placed in a class appropriate to their level of English by providing accurate confirmation of the results of the online placement test and of their current English language level The West Clare School of English is not involved in any way with organising students' accommodation, nor is the School responsible or liable for any issues regarding accommodation. If a place on any course is cancelled by a student, students are liable to a cancellation fee, as follows:
On your first day at the West Clare School of English you will receive details of your timetable for your two week course. All students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons punctually. If, for any reason, a student does not attend a lesson, this is the student's own responsibility. The West Clare School of English will not be liable to make up 45 hours tuition by offering lessons at another time.
